for ones that are not stripped, the head needs to be mounted in a clamping tool like a bench vise or something to hold it in place.
then put two nuts on the bolt and tighten the lower nut tight to the top nut and then use the lower nut to loosen the bolt
For stripped ones.........there is a bolt removal tool at SEars that clamps onto the bolt and locks down on it kinda offset and you use a breaker bar to turn it off the head......it is like a small round pipe wrench for bolts......
hope that helps.......
there might even be an easier way.......that is jsut how we used to do it back in the day.

yeah i found one but i stripped some of them and the others i didnt touch because i do not want to strip all of them is there any other way?
I doubt you can get anything welded to the head of the bolt since there isnt much room to work in. I think your best bet will be to invest in some good drill bits and drill the head off the bolt. Then pull the remaining stud out of the black after the head is off the block.

Use a 1/2inch drill bit and drill straight down through the head of the bolt. when the bit gets through and hits the washer the remainig part of the head will come out on the bit. and you will be left with a stud.
And yes get new head bolts or arp studs.
