Hell yeah man, the sound of the revs and Vtec crackin...kind miss it sometimes!

Imma talk to Todd and see if it could be possible in the near future to make something like this happen...who knows, he may already be plotting it!

 

I'd say do what you want race wise..I'm not your mom..but I'll tell you all day to be safe, and yeah I did remember hearing something about the tranny..That'd be sweeeeeeet!!

 

talk about delayed response on my end but...i dont think it was ever and issue with the tranny being weak...think it was more an issue with the engines being "glass"...i had a buddy of mine that had a Celica GTS boosted...engine gave out real quick and he was only pushin i think 6lbs...but i suppose its no worse then tryin to boost an F20C to anything more than 5lbs without major adjustments to the internals...

the tranny probably could handle it, anyone wants to take up the task of fabricating an adapter plate for it to the 2AZ and test it out...lemme know if it works! and if it does, patent it REAL quick before telling anyone it worked! LOL

The only prob i could see beyond the possiblity of the tranny bein weak is that the gears are even shorter than the tCs...that wouldn't really be useful IMO they're already too short

yea...well i like the fact that the tC has great torque compared to hondas...we just need a taller fifth gear...as everyone has been saying all along

Those were both very nice writeups...clarified a few things on how they work...gettin my TRD/Quaife LSD soon and i cant wait to see the difference!

Possibly a taller fifth gear and final drive coming soon to assist in making the most out of my cars power!

BTW, what does that Romans Ch 13 say? Went to private religious school from K-12 so im sure we studied it at one point but i dont remember what it said...cant think of any mention of a 6spd tranny w/ LSD in their carriages...possibly a performace model?
