Default boosted tc having problems any ideas?

alright guys i have an 06 boosted tc. 3rd gear grinds when shifting from 2nd to third. but still spins third and when shifting smoothly and easy, slips right in without any grinding or problem.. thinking maybe the syncro? problem 2 when iam driving its making a clunking noise but only makes the noise when driving and not all the time. it also makes this noise when turning. are there common problems with the cv axles or shafts with the tcs?i go to college at wyotech in september and i dont want to be stranded on the way up there because of something going bad or breaking. its got a staged clutch in it. stage 1 and honestly i have never felt a clutch this stiff. i dont know if this is normal for scions because my buddy has a nissan 240 and has a stage 2 clutch in it and pushes in like a normal clutch. also i have stress cracks on the tranny is this a common problem? or does that mean new tranny? i have done a complete engine rebuld on the car cause i blew the engine up once. never did any upgrades on the tranny except the staged clutch. thanks for all the inputs and suggestions chris

it sounds like its time for a new tranny. and spend some time playing with your.....clutch.....so you don't grind anymore or anything.

no the clutch has been in for a while and the car only has 40000 miles on it. the tranny feels strong spins completly through 2nd and chirps third with a good amount of pull. iam thinking hopeing a bent cv joint. theres alot of movement when i tryed moving the axles up and down and when compared to the exact same engine and trans it has alot of movement. if i baby it theres no noise. that is if i shift easy as well. once iam into second shifting into third the noise is not there even if i am really getting on it. it doesnt make sense what it could be i ordered a cv and hopefully with a little luck the problem will go away. one more question is there a way to adjust the pressure it takes to engage and disengage the clutch?

Yes And no if you look underneth clucth pedal you'll see a push rod From clutch pedal to your clutch master . That the only adjustment availible , it uses a 12mm nut lock it in place. You could loosen it and adjust rod, but not to much or you'll ingage clutch. Will slip if not adjusted properly

well guys i have figured out what the problem with the tc is. when we did the motor swap a while ago well my dad and the guy that was helping us never tightend down the motor mounts completly 3 of the 4 motor mounts were lose. i tightened them down and no more problem no more 3rd gear grind. one more question on the front motor mount it has a little adjustment on how the engine sets the motor is sitting as low as it can so my question is, is there a specfic area where the motor should be sitting on the adjustment on the motor mount?
