Is it really worth it for a header that does next to nothing?

How about I just get one big 8' long resonator and bend it to fit along the underside of my car!

I felt a considerable difference after installing my megan header.

I already have suspension, haha. Also I got the header for $140 from my buddy, the glasspacks are only $25 each, and a resonator would be $100. I'm welding/installing everything myself, so it really isn't that bad, especially for having a car that sounds nice and unique!

 

gotcha! Its nice to hv a da tools to do it urself, yeh, i totally agree wif you! The sound of the car represent the driver's taste too !

Hey, I'm looking an getting an exhaust/ CAI on my 4.0 edition, I'm going with an injen for my CAI, but I'm torn inbetween getting a TRD, or the HKS hi power exhaust. They both sound good but I just can't decide.

 

all personal preference. trd is quieter then the hks. hks is a canister, trd is a oem style.

all based on what you think is best

 

You say quieter, but is the HKS to the point of being obnoxious? I do not want to sound like a ricer going around the streets.

 

hks is alot louder then the trd. there is droan with the hks. canister style exhausts are naturally louder then OEM style axlebacks.

it wont sound like a ricer since you have no header and it wont be ricey. its just louder then the trd.

 

Alright thanks a lot, the canister just gives it more resonance I suppose. Still a little undecided but I'll figure it out when the time comes.
