canister is just less 'restricting' since its going straight back unlike OEM style which goes threw chambers in the muffler part of the exhaust.

like i said before its preference but both are great exhausts. im not a fan of the trd (idk why) and im not a fan of the HKS bc of the crazy angle it has

edit- only drawback to the HKS is the angle in which it sticks out.

 

Yeah that's the only thing that got me is how it's situated. I'm probably going to go with the HKS, and yeah headers are just overkill with it.

6k is good. i personally wouldnt get anything past 4300k but thats just me. anything over 6k is just bad lol

flint what kind of K hids do you have?

 

Im running the DME header, Meagan mid/s-pipe and tsudo axleback, its my Ebay extreme kit, i still need a huge/multiple resonators installed its raspy as hell but i like it and the rasp is mostly at WOT

 

rasp for me is between 3000-5000k rpms. im pretty fine before or after lol with the greddy SE its not bad anymore.

Yeah flint I will for sure, I plan on doing a lot with this car the only problem is I don't have the income or otherwise I could do a lot more. 6000 is where I'm topping out, going past that is just bad imo. Too much.

 

haha nahhh they look white/yellow with like hints of purple when warming up. color wise they look exactly like a tsx just without the cutoff.

 

4300's are more yellow/white like he said, they don't have any hints of blue in them like you get with 6000k's

 

It just hit me that it's an 06 so there's no projectors, even mine at 6k were purple. blahhhh

HKS is the way to go IMO. .....and a nice CAI.

 

I got the 4.0 rs so I have projectors in mine, make life a lot easier for me haha.

yep you lucked out with the projectors Dom.G the projector kinda deflects the color alot more so it wont be AS blue as non projectors
