So I am assuming the clutch is complete toast (As in broken spring, not disengaging fully, etc) to cause the issues you mention ... that shows more than just letting it slip too much

As far as TRD, while rebadged, they are not all crap products. Actually the SC is the biggest issue producer.

The TRD springs are about the best daily driver and performance balance out there as far as just a spring goes. Most others are way too low for good handling and too softly sprung. And most TRDs I know of are made by Eibach, which is the only company out there (at least in the "normal market") that still makes their own springs if I am not mistaken.

The TRD LSD was purchased from Quaiffe, which is the best LSD I know of for this car.

The only issue with TRD is that the price goes up when they buy and rebadge items.

yup da clutch is toast. lol i talked to ptuning and just went ahead and bought clutchmasters stage 3. i simply hate trd. overpriced and does not pay off at all. and there springs sag alot in the rear. the rear looks higher then the back always with trd's! iv'e seen 3 tc's and all the same problem. the rear on all 3 looks lower the front. ill find out on sat. how the stock flywheel is? i think i should just buy it rite? what do you think?

Its like surgery on your mouth or something, if ur going under might as well have verything done at the same time.

If your transmisssion is open might as well do a proper job and evrything at once

The TRDs do not sag (I have autox'd 2 seasons on them and can vouch they are VERY good springs for the tC). They look lower in the rear for two reasons:

1) They were designed to keep the geometry of the suspension in a good place.. many many springs are designed 100% looks and are actually not the best for performance.

2) The way the front and rear fender cutouts are made make the rear look lower if you do an even drop front and rear. Some springs compensate this by actually dropping morein the front than the rear. This may look better to some, but is detrimental overall to handling since you are making the car even more weight biased to the fornt.

yeah, trd springs for the win. also, the supercharger issues, mainly due to $h!tty installations. i've got one, had it over a year now. driven cross country, autocrossed with it several times, flogged it with some spirited driving, changed to a 9.5 psi pulley. the supercharger has handled like a champ.
i'm just ready for more power...and a much quieter exhaust note.

or
3) A 300 lb Speaker box in the trunk sucking gas and killing the suspension.
