Default clutch and flywheel issues

I just got done installing my new f1 flywheel and stage 2 clutch in my car. It took forever the subframe was b***h to remove but got that done and pulled the tranny it took me one and 1/2 day. It took three asian guys to lift the transmission up and back to engine side and mid shaft. This is were the problem lyes I forgot to replace the pressure bearing the round donut thing? and I dont want to go through the trouble of pulling everything out. because I have to yank the supercharger out as well... and the subrame, so I was wondering if it is really recommended. I have another question with ppls replacing your clutch. My clutch feel really soft but it engage very harsh and fast its like I own a honda i have to rev. it up and then at same time releasing the clutch is this normal or is it cause by the old pressure bearing thingy.. Please leave some input thanks

Sorry to say but I would recommend replacing the throw-out bearing anytime the clutch is replaced. Don't know much about the clutch or flywheel brand but its possible to have different pedal feel with aftermarket clutches.

That's always good advice... it's cheap insurance to replace the throw-out bearing while you have it torn down that far...Because if it goes out...you'll just have to tear it all the way down again. I just saves you the extra hassle.
Now answer this for us....how many miles are on the car with that original bearing?

well ghosty.... will that part adventually fail?... yes..it will. But that is why those that have replied on this thread are saying that it's a good idea to always replace parts like that when you replace the clutch. It also helps the overall lifespan of the new parts you installed too.

I only have about 40 thousand miles on my stock clutch... I burned it out autox it a few times and then the supercharger was stuck on and it totally gave out, so I decide a good investment was to get the clutch and flywheel.

Does anyone on scionlife have the F1clutch and flywheel installed. I wonder how it feel on your car? I'm wondering because my car doesnt seem to have a kick. I can't even get wheel spin in third gear my car feels really slow.
