you might have to reset your windows. check your manual. there's instructions on doing so.

disconnect the battery for 30mins. reconnect and start the car, let it run idle for 10-15mins. then hold your power window buttons up for a few seconds, and then close them, repeat this and it should start working. im not sure if thats how the tC works, but i know thats how my 93 altima works lol. sorry if it doesnt help. worth a shot though.

as for the intake, make sure everything is connected properly and if it is, then i wouldnt worry too much about it, every car sounds different, hope this helps.

I think they tell you how to do it in one of the walk throughes for the intake. I remember doing just that, run them up and down. Have to reset the roof too. That one was a little more tricky, just hold the button down closed for a bit and it reset. Atleast I think that is how it worked. I was doing several things at once when I reset them.

As for the whistle, might help if you say what type of intake. I get a WOOSH (sucking sound) when I hit around 4K RMP, but no whistle. If it while your idle? Than check your fittings, while driveing might still check them. It's allways good to go back and retighten things after a little break in too.
