Again, there should be no issues with fitment.

Thanks

Yeah please don't think this won't work with Alphawerks. I am going in 1 hour to get this checked out. It could be installation or the donut's problem. We'll see.

Sorry I don't want it to look like they won't fit. Just explaining my situation

Found the info...but it doesn't give much. It's on page one of this post, there is a diagram regarding the s-pipe. no part number.

The torque settings are more like 32 ft-lbs...Still, using it more than twice seems like it would cause it to fail.

I can't see not replacing it though, as long as the part isn't expensive, and one is planning on taking the factory s-pipe off anyhow. Seems like it would be less of a hassle to replace it while the s-pipe is off, rather than replacing it after wards.

Keep us updated though, and let us know if that is what the issue was.
Hrmm.... well if I can't get it fixed while its on the lift, I'll go to the dealership and see if I can pick one up.

thanks for your help.

Hey Matt have you had any luck on the lift? I know it was a _____ for the installation of the stock pipe on my TC in the first place. Might take a little coercing to get it to fit.

It wasn't the header->s-pipe it was the s-pipe->midpipe

the flanges weren't flat on each other... i guess under the car in my driveway (my shop was full ) i couldn't really tell but once i got it on the lift there was no problem. put a little gasket paste on the gasket and lined them up and tightened it down.

works great now

Just got my tracking# and James did ship it Tuesday as promised.

Too bad I won't be getting it until next Tuesday. I was hoping to install it this weekend.

Anyways, big thanks to Creative Compacts for getting it out as promised. You guys rock!

Well I got the exhaust. Upon initial inspection I realized:

1) No hardware (clamps, need 3, and no bolts for flanges)
2) Borla muffler nipple is too large for the outlet pipe to the tip. I can make that work, but James you might want to look into that. The borla nipple is 2.53" inside diameter.

The Magnaflow resonator looks great as does the quality of the welds. Can't wait to see how it sounds. S-Pipe is arriving tomorrow!! Yay.

Ok... since Creative Compacts isnt answering my e-mails i will give you guys a try. I just installed my SS s-pipe and everytime I had a leak between alphawerx header and s-pipe even with a new donut gasket. The s-pipe could actually move about a half inch up or down even with the bolts completely torqued down. So i bought some shorter bolts but the leak wouldnt stop until the springs were completely compressed. Is this a bad idea?
What are the springs there for?
Would it be a bad idea to use different bolts without the springs?
Sorry for so many questions... oh and I am new to posting here but a long time reader so please dont flame too much lol. Thanx in advance!
