Along with the header I had an intake, invidia s-pipe, and megan catback. I didn't mess with A/F ratios at all.

Dropping it won't cause that. The core is brazed to the can and can withstand up to about 2100F. The engine itself won't get to that temp without self destructing, however if raw fuel is dumped into the system it can burn definitely hot enough to cause the core to become removed from the can and force itself out. Simple as that.

I will do this....I will open the GB even without 10 people, and we will provide the pricing because we are doing a TC2 one for some special fellas and can combine the raw materials as they use a lot of the same raw materials.

http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motorsports_4-1.cfm

Here ya go! Sale good through the end of the month of November.

Also no issues with using premium fuel in the tC? and I can't seem to find the Dynos for RPM versus Horsepower & RPM vs Torque for the non-supercharged tC.
Use any pump fuel you want.

The tC2 is the only one that needs that mod. TC1 fits fine with the OE gasket.

After a couple more emails I stopped hearing from them so I just said whatever and now it's sitting in my garage.

Here is a picture of what greeted me when I took off my header. Sure did explain the rasp and CEL

this was the issue with oem, when heat wrap is applied. so was this header wrapped???

Yes it will. Use some RTV to hold it onto place of the neck on the new header.

I went to an advanced auto and got a massive donut gasket for about $10, the opening itself is big enough to fit the stock tc donut gasket in haha.

The part number for the gasket is #31531, they may have one a bit smaller but idk this is what I got.

Because of the gaskets size the original spring bolts would not fit so I had to make up my own "spring bolts" by using some hardware laying around my garage and from the local home depot.

To get the gasket in I had to fully unbolt my s-pipe so I could get enough of a gap between the two flanges to slide it in.

All together the fix cost me less than $20 and I feel it should last me a while.

Once the header is broken in a little more I'll post up some idle, revving, and running sounds clips of my set up.
I got a leak in my invidia s pipe what donut did you end up getting. Advance didn't have that part number. Is it for a spasific car.

And dezod I got a p0420 cell it says for the cat I only had the header installed for 3 months??? That don't seem right to me

And that's be4 I installed the invidia pipe

So many people with fitment issues... I don't see how a lot of companies couldn't understand what I was talking about when they don't make s-pipes with the oem flange spec. Most aftermarkets parts need slight "modification" to work. I just don't understand.

This is why I still have a stock S pipe. The reset of the exhaust has been modded except the S pipe, and I have no problems at all with the exhaust. This header is as good as it looks and sounds great.
