with stainless steel the traditional heat build that you have is less than traditional metal usage's. i learned that from watching the cooking channel haha... wrapping these headers really isnt gona give u extra gains or cool temps THAT much. if you wana keep the engine bay cool remove some of the bottom plastic splash guards or just make sure your radiator and motor stays cool with simple thermostat upgrade or radiator additive etc etc etc.

Alll I know is, my engine bay was HOT. I wrapped the header, nowhere nearly as hot.

More people need to get in on this group buy!

its a give and take... in all seriousness... would you rather your header kill itself because of extreme continuous exposures to enclosed heat? making it prone to crack? it just looks so much nicer out in the open to see lol heated SS gets a nice bronze and blue sheen after a while. ive had heat wrapped headers before and really its no big deal. if anything once it starts cracking it leaves fiber glass strands all over the place. it sucks lol

You could also get a vented hood as well. I love seeing the heat rise out of my kamanari hood. On another topic, I am also easily entertained.

No it will not. Factory S-pipe or factory replacement only.

Same engine, but I am not sure it will fit. DC for example, makes headers for both and they are a different part number for the tC and xB2.

Would you be able to make one for the XB2? He is really wanting this.

Why won't it fit an after market s-pipe. Shouldn't an aftermarket s-pipe fit right in where the stock one is?

Factory replacement could be an aftermarket. I.E.: Megan and invidia makes one.

So, Paul, I'm a n00b at group buys. I'm curious if you will still be honoring the price if the people who sign up don't end up buying one? Are you kind of testing the waters or something?

I am definitely interested, but it's an investment really. I will only be able to buy one if we get the count up to 10 or 15...preferably 15, haha! I also don't want to screw others over if I can't do it after all. I can't stop debating on whether to get one because I don't want to half-___ it by not replacing my s and mid pipes. (I'm not saying that that is a bad thing for those of you who might only be replacing your header; I just want to go further on it with Invidia s and Tsudo mid pipes.)

One of my debate points is whether it will sound bad after I add the aftermarket pipes to my TRD axleback. Thoughts?

I'm interested in this header because of its lack of rasp and high performance rather than emissions. Iowa doesn't do inspections really...

Thanks in advance!

Here is a new video. To the RUNNING FOOTAGE! This is how it sounds under a cold day and cold start, this is the worst it will ever sound. Once it warms up, nice and deep.

WAIT WAIT!!! so it won't work with the invidia S-pipe?!! Dezod have u not tried installing it with S-pipe?
And another question! Since it gives better performance than the MMW header, will it have a nice bigger performance with ur exhaust system?

This header should work with the Invidia S-pipe. It just hasn't been tested for performance with it.

I might be mistaken, but I think Paul stated in another post or thread saying that this header will not work with their S-back exhaust because of fitment of the s-pipe itself.

Can anyone else verify that?
