Ok so im running an after market clutch and fly wheel (JUST wanted to let people know)

but here is my problem...

Some times when im shifting, my Shifter locks in first and i hafta wiggle it to get it out of 1st and into second.


and sometimes when im shifting into 3rd (from 2nd)the shifter it wont go in and i must wiggle the shifter to get it in.


does any else have this problem?

and

does anyone know what may be causing this?

Have you changed anything with the shifter? Check the shifter assy, cables, cable bushings, and if that isn't it then it could be a clutch or syncro or block ring in the syncro.

 

is that the plastic ring that's on the shifter?

 

no, the syncros are inside the trans, do you have the stock shifter or a short throw shifter?

 

i have a short throw shifter.

 

its either some problem with the shifter or maybe your clutch
