I'm sorry but it has to be said, do everyone a favor don't ever install anymore parts just pay someone to. You could have seriously damaged your engine by doing this. By not having the sensor in your car doesn't know how your engine is running so more than likely you were running lean and might have cause some premature wear on your engine and pistons. When your engine runs lean it burns hotter raising the egt's higher and that one of the many things that lead to engine failure. Just 10 min probably didnt hurt it because it was a short period but it could have. Just keep this in mind when you do mods that deal with sensors and engine electronics.

just for the recored. all oem primary O2 sensors come cross threaded from the factory.

but on a side note. becuase it's obvious you don't know this. the tC is only made in america. so change your name to tC-USDM for us

I'm sorry but you are saying he doesn't know tC's obviously you don't, the tC's are made in Japan and imported to the US. Unless something has changed for the 07-up I know for a fact all the 05-06 tC's were made in japan and imported to the US for final assy and to be sold.

they are made in japan. if your toyota's vin starts with a J then its made in japan, if it starts with a 4 then its made in the US. the only thing we do at the dealership is a post delivery inspection which consists of installing hub caps. adjusting tire pressure, installing a couple fuses, putting the antenna on and checking for damage.
oh ya and taking that white protective plastic off the body.

just for the record thats a completely moronic statement...sensors are not supose to be cross threaded from factory. NOTHING IS SUPOSE TO BE CROSS THREADED FROM FACTORY!!

and as far as the OP and his problem.. we told you the night you came to the meet you need that sensor in your header, we told you what to do to take it out.... how retarded is it to just take the sensor off the wiring harness and expect the car to still run correctly... if you couldnt take off the sensor in the first place from the OEM header then why would you go ahead and keep on with the instalation... thats the first thing you need to check when doing such a simple mod.

you should have listend to us and not acted like we didnt know WTF we were talking about...smooth move.
