high pitched clacking when clutch is depressed

Default high pitched clacking when clutch is depressed

i hear high pitched clacking noise when not moving and clutch completely depressed.....

what do you guys think? btw the clutch is not slipping.



more info:
its not a grinding noise... its almost sounds like the keys when you shake your key chain
i dont feel anything on the pedal when i hear the noise.
I just changed the oil to Redline mt90 and the noise didnt go away

wow i have that exact same problem i would really like to know what it its. i mean my cars not even a year old and it dose it..

yeah like when i go to start my car and push the clutch in it makes a squeeking noise and sometimes when im at stop lights i can kinda hear it

is it a squeking when u move the clutch or just a random squeking?

It could be your clutch fork needs some lubricating.. I added some grease to mine and the noise went away.

nooo.. its not the squeaking!!! i have that problem to.. when i depress/release my clutch its squeaking but this is different!
as i said before its sounds just like when you hold your keys and start to shake it. i think i have to go down and make a video...

you got anything done on your tranny maybe clutch or flywheel?

i made a video but i cant hear anything because of the muffler


... most probably i have trd clutch

i bought my car used.. it had wheels, stereo, CAI, muffler already and the clutch was nice and firm.. i thought its normal until i drove my brother's new tc which had a soft clutch.
i tried another guy's clutch who had trd clutch and it felt the same.
i got the car for 2 years now and i can hear the noise since..... beginning of this summer.
but i didnt pay attention to it.

I wonder what it is? I have a stock clutch and when i first start my car after its been sitting for awhile, it does that too.

more info:
its not a grinding noise... its almost sounds like the keys when you shake your key chain

Its not the squeaking noise when i depress and release the clutch:
i can hear this noise only when the depress the clutch and i hold the clutch down.. i can hear the noise until i release the clutch. and as i said before it sound just like when you shake your keys
