Default Injen Air Filter Question

I bought an Injen Cold Air Intake that can also be converted to short ram. It came with a blue filter that says Injen/Amsoil which is supposedly a dry filter, but when I got it, it was in a vacuumed sealed package and it seemed like it was oiled. Is this normal? On Injen's website, it says that the red filters are oiled and the blue ones are dry. So do all Injen's filters come slightly a little oiled?

Ok here are the pic of the filter

And that last photo is not mine but that is what it looked like when I got it. But the reason why I am asking is because last night I converted my cold air into a short ram because of winter coming along. When I originally got it, I just figured the filter was a wet filter because when I opened it, it had oil on it. So I was going to recharge it, but a buddy of mine said that he was pretty sure those filters you can just wash. I didn't believe him so he looked it up and said that these are dry filters and if you were to oil the filter, it can ruin your mass air flow sensor since it is a dry filter. I bought the cold air intake at the end of March if that helps.

The blue Injen/Amsoil filters are dry filters and shouldn't be oiled.
