For the sake of your poor motor; Disconnect the negative terminal on your battery for 20-30 minutes. The MAFS will immediately adapt for the increase in air flow to the engine, which will save your engine from forcing itself to adapt and running rough when you reconnect it. You should disconnect it even if your just putting in a higher flow air filter. You'll lose your radio settings, but hey you'll survive.

I believe the official numbers from the dyno confirm that the license plate frame adds 18.56 hp and roughly 7,000 pounds of torque. If your into racing muscle cars and jumping railroad tracks in front of trains, well, it's a must.

Default Injen intake

This sounds like a PITA. I hope all goes well Tuesday, I am having the dealer install it. I will do the Dynaflow when I get some more cash! I will leave the instructions for the mechanic! LOL!

Update: The Injen intake went in without a hitch, now I need to find a good cat-back exhaust system, any suggestions?

dont feel like reading through 10pages
only difference is leave the maf in the stock pipe and when you're ready to put it on the car...
THEN take it out and dont let it touch ANYTHING

Oh I see, but this one I got actually mounts just like the TRD. Real pretty stainless! I know what you mean though about the frailty of the filter unit, I have bent a many!

i just installed it yesterday, it sounds great! i love it =) it has this nice roar! =) only thing is, it was hard to not scratch it, even when injen gave me the rubber to put around the opening to put the intake through. it was hard to push through with the rubber there so i took it off and shove it in there. few scratches but it's all worth it. And it was hard to put the rubber around that opening so I cut it in half and put it in that way at the end.
