Well i had the problem but not anymore. I fixed it. Where injen wants to put the rubber mount is to low for the CAI w/ the ame by pass value. I had to lift it up about 1/2" so it could line up. With out that i found that the bypass vuale was in a angle and was letting a lttile air in.

You got to really squeeze the clamp, to get it to pop off.

I spent 3 hours putting this thing on last night. I have about 4 cuts on my hands. I scratch the hell out of the CAI portion that does down in the engine bay. I had to take off the front bumper, battery, and some of the left front fender. I also had to move my sub filter. It was all worth it in the end. It feels like the car is more responsive and sounds really cool around 4,000 RPM's.

same with me man. I had k-dog come over and help with the install and it took several hours. The secendary cai portion is scratched to hell and it took forever to fit it thru the fender! I would highly recommend taking off the bumper, I can't imagine how people do it without. Yes, it is scratched but no one can tell tho cause its under the hood!

Is it alright if the small hose that fastens to the bottom of the throttle body goes up over the intake? My hose kind of rests on top of the intake just like flimsnews' pics when you look at the back of the intake connecting to the throttle body, that wont burn that hose will it?

No, you need to jack it up and take the wheel off, otherwise you won't be able to get the fender mud lining off to install the secondary tube and filter.

I didn't use a rubber mounting bolt for the upper intake since where I ordered it from only included one. Would this pose as a problem since the bracket is rubbing onto the metal part?
