Default Intake systems

I know that the the Injen Intake had the best results when they compared the top 4, but what about the TRD Intake? is it as good as the Injen???

Do a little research, also it depends on what application your going for. If your eventually going to go FI, no reason in getting and intake.

remember trd is the same as aem so dont pay for the trd $$ if you like that one, this is pretty much a cosmetic mod, just get the one you'll enjoy looking at in the bay cuz theres practically no gains with the CAI, just noise and imagination

Yep, very true. My friend Jon was gonna give me his TRD CAI when he finally got his turbo installed in KY (until we noticed the difference in intakes between '06 and '07 models).

So yeah, if you want to get boosted soon, go without one until then... unless you absolutely must have one. If so, I'd suggest...

Injen's CAI, according to my reading (I haven't done it myself, though; so don't take my word for it, do more research). Lots of people sound satisfied with it, if not blown away. From what I see, what is the best thing about it??? The price.

I was looking through [url]www.trdsparks.com[/b] since they are very reliable according to many users on ScionLife.com, and here is the comparison between the two; fortunately they offer both CAI systems.

For the Injen: $309
For the TRD: $352

So slight price difference; in the bolt-on section, it's listed @ much lower though. These were for the '07 model tC's (I checked your profile for your model year).

I don't know about that, you're gonna have to get the attention of someone with experience.

Default Hmm

Dont waste money on an intake. Aint worth it. Just gut the resonator and cap it off. Then buy yourself a K&N Drop in filter and punch out that filter stuck in the top of the airbox. Homemade Intake at a fraction of the price. LOL
