Anyone have the K&N Typhoon CIA on an 2007 or 08 TC

 

Hmm... I doubt it. They made it kind of stupid for 2007. It's more of a short ram that uses the stock airbox with the bottom removed... so most people are probably going for the Injen or maybe Fujita.

 

I was was kind of expecting the config of the 2006. But for some reason they changed it.

 

yeah, I have the 07 model as well and I saw this intake system but the power gains seem crappy. The injen Intake is too expensive I think so I dont know what else to look into.

 

There is no great intake for power. Just about any CAI is probably going to be 6-8 whp at the very most. Probably less.

 

kinda need how that thing looks very stock...but a cold air intake would probably work so much better than that.

kinda reminds me of the k&n intake i put on my explorer. pretty much just a big conical air filter that replaced the air box housing at the end of the intake hose.
