SOOOO wut im tryin to say it just may not be able to pass the air through as quickly and effectively as demanded by the F/I engine without loosing a few ponies in the proccess
I have the supercharger and I wanted to see dyno results before getting this intake

ANd the umnitza is not a regualr design, the filter is about extra 3 inches wider then a regualr k&n filter.
Are there any updates as of yet? I've been keeping an eye on this thread and apparently Umnitza shipped the intake on the 16th and it was lost during shipping and contacted to send another, and here it is nearly 2 weeks later. You've said you already recieved the Weapon R intake.
Everyone in the TC community appreciates what you are doing and the companies that represent the products you are testing. The name-brand intakes available on the market now with the exception of ARC (which doesn't seem like a proper fit for a TC in the first place) would have been tested in a very close comparison enviornment. I'm waiting on seeing the results on your intake test because I own a weapon R SW intake and haven't installed it yet because noone has done a reputable dyno of it, which I don't have access to do myself.
Keep up the great work everybody, I appreciate it.

Im curious to see Umnitza's results as well...for all the supercharged peeps Im trying to get an intake developed to work seamlessly with the s/c setups...heres the link and if interested show your support...https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...204580#1204580
Hey guys,
I hope you all had a happy thanksgiving. We all headed out to our hometowns over the holidays and spent some time with our families.
WE HAVE RECEIVED THE Umnitza intake!!!
We got it on Wednesday at about 4:00pm. Unfortunatly, we all had to head out of town right about then. So now that we have the intake here, we will do they dyno runs TONIGHT. We will have the graphs up hopefully tonight, and if not, then tomorow morning.
I would love to do the runs right now, but we have a TON of work to catch up on.
Keep an eye on this thread, you should have the results your looking for withen 24 hours.

Scion tC Intake Test Take 2
So last night we loaded the scion back onto the dyno a few times for some more intake testing. So...here are the results.
First off, we ran the F5 again cause it was already on the car. This is a full Cold Air intake

Next we put on the Weapon R. This is a Short Ram

Next we did the Umnitza intake which uses the stock intake tubing, and replaces the stock airbox with its own carbon fiber unit.

And lastly, because everyone wanted it again, we did the Injen full Cold Air Intake.

I think the main thing to keep in mind when looking at these is the air/fuel ratios.
If you have any other questions, just let me know.
Also we can overlap any maps if you want us to.

Second up Stock Air Box with Drop In K&N filter. We left the charcoal thing in as well
This one was an absolute bummer IMO. It lost HP but the air fuel was good.

third K&N Typoon intake
The air Fuel got a little funny on this one. could be the cause for less HP than the others. With the cost of the intake I think your money would be better spent else where.

Forth Injen Cold Air
What can I say about this one it made the most horsepower the Air Fuel line was very clean in fact with an SAFC or ported T-Body could see somewhere in the 165 Range. Over all I am very impressed with this intake.

Fifth Injen Short Ram
We also tryed the short ram Injen Intake. but the hood was open so im sure under street conditions it would be lower do to heat soak. and the Air fuel went nuts around 5300. sense you can't buy just the Short Ram it is totally pointless to not install the Cold Air Section.

Sixth the F5Air Intake
The air fuel did the same thing as the injen short ram so im not sure the R&D was done on this kit as far as fuel tuning. the numbers are good and with a little tuning im sure it could be improved.

Now as far as the install goes i must say that the F5 was the easiest to install but after 3 intakes i think it was just practice.
So the overall winner was Injen and if anyone would like me to lay a graph over a different competitor please just let me know which two you would like to see.

So the Umnitza makes a -5hp gain.
Well that was an anti-climax wasn't it.
Are the two sets of data on the same scale? Also why are the first ones all over the place and the most recent ones smooth graphs.
Thanks for taking the time to do these guys, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you will get my business for doing things like this, so keep up the good work.
