Default Mass air flow sensor problem

I have a Bomz Racing intake on my 08 tC and have had it on for about a week. Yesterday the check engine light came on and the dealership told me it was because the sensor went off because the engine was getting too much air. The whole point is for the engine to get more air but I know im not the only one with a tC and an intake and ive never herd of this problem before, any ideas on how to fix it? thanks

SEARCH man, this has been covered a million times before. The CEL is caused by the opening at the MAF point in your intake being larger then stock. The point of an intake is for less restrictive air path from point A to point B, not always bigger and more.

It will just bring up the same code over and over. All disconnecting the battery does is reset everything in the car and make it disappear for a day or two or so. None the less, OP you can live with the CEL, or get a different intake.
