When I first start my car at night and turn my lights on the idle will jump really low and almost turn off. If Im driving when I turn on the light I can feel the fuel not going to the motor. Anyone have any idea what would cause this?

 

Sounds like the alternator kicking in or something. Do you have a system or anything with a high current installed?

 

Get a cheap voltage checker and plug it into your cigarette lighter before and after you turn your lights on, and post your readings up here. It sounds like your alternator might be going bad.

 

My cigarette lighter doesn't work. I have a system not sure if its a high current or not but its a pretty but amp and a 10 type R. When I have the bass up and it hits the lights dim quite a bit. I thought that might be the problem too but wasn't sure.

 

OH I also have a Cam Con, and it did start shortly after I put the Cam Con on...

 

sounds like a mix of both things, but that camcon is whats fraggin up your idle and fuel mixture.
you need to either get the stock tune from the camcon site or get it tuned for real.
oh and you need a capacitor for your system 1 ferret should be fine...i think

Thats the problem. I had it professionally tuned but the guy didnt seem to know much about imports, so I think Im going to take it off anyway and sell it. Im getting a turbo soon anyway.

 

You should take it back to the guy and have him either fix it or take it off. You don't need anything put into your car by someone who won't stand behind their work when something goes wrong.

 

Im not going to bother with it. Im just gonig to take it off and sell it. I just wont go back to the guy.
