how much did you pay for the intake?
is the tube diameter larger than the stock hose?

 

It's an 05-06 item that's been out awhile, apparently it wasn't deemed viable for the rest of the tC market, hmmm.

IMHO Specifications look like it's a 2 3/4" intake tube. According to Doc Isotope, it's the material of the OEM intake tube that causes heatsoak, so anything is prob'ly better than stock for adding a few hp. It could be argued that removing the resonator upsets airflow, which is why most intakes do nothing but make more noise.

he didn't have it tuned at the time, if he did tcpete would have been pushing way over 200. he didn't add cams either but if he did, it would be beastly

 

I think tc pete is at 200whp exactly I think, running a EMS aswell. no cams, but I know he's running a built head/motor.
