Well the Gauge Pod is in the postal office waiting to be picked up, the gauges have to be put in as soon as I can, and the Heat Wrap Hasn't arrive yet. So, expect news soon. YAY!

 

Look what also arrived, to see if I can Gasket Match it to my Alphawerks Header, and maybe Port Match the header or the engine. :D

Well guys, great news. Just got another part for the bolt-on list. A new, bigger, throttle body. 70mm ! So, once the money I'm waiting arrives in February, I will tune it, since all the parts will be on the car already. Wohooo!!!

I sure think so. I just love to go to the dyno and see how much whp I gain or Lose. I actually consider this a very good lesson on what works, and what doesn't. Even what kind of combinations do what. I;m trying to get mid- to-high torque and a good usable power.

 

I just read the post about the throttle body and the spacer, and now I am really, really interested....this is really cool, I feel like a lil kid!!, hehe...

 

Imagine me when I expect to receive this things. But the most i expect to get from this is a MAX of maybe 3-4whp. Less than 2, NOP, since I have some more breathing mods. lol.

 

Yea man, if I had all those parts rite now, I would be itching, lol.

But I want to see the real limprovement in throttle response, I know about how it will still taper from the 70mm to 60mm, if im not mistaken. But would still love to see an increase....

 

Actually is from 70mm to 55mm. U CAN get the IM to be 60mm, but it would require porting it. I don't want to do that since it would impair my Dyno results. What do u think?

 

Do you have the dezod black box installed on your n/a? Since it tunes partially off of boost levels, and the car never goes into boost but stays in vacuum, how are you tuning it?

 

I do not have it installed in my car, and yes it can be used to adjust AFRs while the car is at vacuum.
