Did it, but the lower Samco hose didn't work. I only change the upper one. Also I use the Water wetter and use 1 gallon of distilled water. So let's see the results.

Well as soon as the Gauge Pod comes, I will instantly install the Gauges, that means doing a Synthetic Oil Change, and drill near the collector of the header. Once the gauges are in, all there is left is to start using 93 octane and let whatever tuner I find, work it's magic.

I did some research awhile ago and found the model that would fit.

I haven't installed it or my samco hoses yet but I'm saving that project for spring. I've had it sitting in my room for almost a year

If the ones you guys ordered work better you probbably saved a hell of a lot more than me. They charged an arm and a leg for this thermostat

Watching the post though, cool stuff so far.

edit - yea I paid 3 times that price for the TRD branded one.
All we need is for u to test this thermostat to see if the price is worth it. :D

Guys, great NEWS!! I got a local tuner, now I only need like 2 more parts, and I will get to tuning the tC. The tuner told me that I would not achieve much in my car, but that we would try the safest and most powerful way. Baseline is 160whp and around 163wtq. Also, I got the Speed-Source's Tranny Bushing Kit. and the E-mange Ultimate's A/F Harness. Wish me LUCK!!!

I got bad news for u, u have to use another Oil Filter. I had to make 2 trips to Advance Auto Parts because of this. I used Mobile 1 Oil Filter with part number: M1-107. Always check the thread size for the extension bolt in the Oil Sandwish. Its a PITA to install the Megan Oil pressure with this Oil Sandwish Plate. Had to think a LOT to install, but I did it.

SUPER BAD NEWS!!!! Something went wrong after 5 minutes on the road. I smelled burning Oil BAD! Then came the OIL LIGHT! I shutted the car OFF IMMEDIATLY! and When I got out it was pouring OIl on the ROAD and bad, like A LOT! Don't know what happen, but a friend of mine was nearby, we went to wal-mart 15 minutes before closing (READ: LUCKY BASTARD), went to my car after that and poured the new oil and used the stock oil filter again. SUPER BAD NIGHT!! Horrific!! But I think everything is alright now, the car is smooth and there is no problems. Did a 10 minutes test drive after and there was no oil leak then. I hope nothing else went worng.

That can't be more of a truth. I was so scared after the incident, that I couldn't stop shaking.

Wow. Thank goodness Walmart was still open. Did you ever find out where oil was coming out? Sounds like the adapter for the oil gauge?

Is everything still on schedule though?

Glad you didn't completely run out of oil otherwise... well you know how much you'd be set back. Good thinking.
