What size is the thread side of the Oil Pressure Switch? 1/8? or 1/4? 1/2?

It is a metric size thread, but I dont remember what it is...hopefully someone can help you out there.

Perhaps ask ZPI or Dezod as they use that same outlet for the oil feed on their turbo setups.

It seems it's 1/8. Doing a comparison with another same size screw, then one from the Oil Pressure Sensor. Got the T fitting and an extension to the block. I will do a DIY for this mod. Keep tuned.

Lol that sounds really ghetto, guess and check. Sometimes you'll get lucky and SAE and metric sizes will be the same but be careful. This car is definitely all metric and you wouldn't want to tap anything you don't have to. (I learned this the hard way.) Good luck with your build, always good to see some unconventional modding.

Look out for infamous BSPT sizes. Hopefully it's just a simple 1/8 NPT.

Unistalled the Pressure Switch, tried, wrong 1/8 extension. I don't know the metric value of 1/8 and I don't know why it didn't fit because, when I compared the switch to the the extension side. I saw from all sides, and they matched, yet still it din't want to go in. I didn't force it because its not suppose to be forced, that would strip the thread. Well, I re-installed the switch using locktite 242 and let it sit there for an hour. I will try to see what goes there, so I can do a DIY and to install my pressure sensor.

yeah it is a metric thread. If you can have a friend drive you to the parts store, take the stock pressure sensor in with you and match up the thread in the thread sizing plate they have there.
There is usually a plate you can screw it into to test the thread sizing.
good luck.

Well, it seems I don't have a friend to drive me there since college ended today and everyone left the building and I'm from another part of the island, but living in this current part I'm in.

Well, the update is since Pro-Motion Tuning is taking a whole month to tell me, "We are expecting you package this week, so we can deliver it", when they told me the week before it would go out. I have already installed 1 of 3 gauges. I installed some of the other mods, exept the e-manage. Since I will be installing it the same day of the tuning. Tuning day delayed until I get the part and some others and after I come from the trip to Orlando. No worries I will only be a week over there and come fast to continue with this.

i'm interested to see what kind of numbers you can get with those mods. i want to go F/I but it costs so much and voids the warranty and all. but if about 180-190whp is possible without going turbo i want in!
