isnt the torque converter in the tc already a locking torque converter. just not sure what rpm it locks at.
Be careful about modding a auto tC because automatic transmissions usually stays in the lower rpm ranges therefore low end torque is important. most engine mods take away lowend torque and add it to the upper range. So in daily driving your car might seem slower. thats where a shift kit comes into play.

lol i shift my auto like a stick shift, when i start the car up i always put it down to first gear, then you know as the rpms get higher i shift into the next, then 3rd witch is drive then slide the shifter back into "4th" drive also lol. its fun i think kinda like having a stick withought a clutch, one of my friends tease me for doing it but im the one laughing when i beat his v6 stick shift mazda! ahaa

but if ur looking to upgrade ur tranny, try lookin into torque converters, tranny coolers, or mayb even having it rebuilt. u gotta have money for the last option.
