Compression check your motor, asap. That will tell you a lot.

 

yeah.... I'm trying to get a hold of my brother... he has a tool that will do that...

 

One last word of mine - find out whats been happening to these engines. Since you have been here before ....maybe its not the engine. Think about getting the gauges and/or testing other things - i wouldnt want to see you making an "engine number 4" post.

 

also try to do a leakdown test if you can and post the #'s

 

I tried calling you this morning, saw your car sittin at your girls house. My friend could have checked your compression for you, he only live a mile down the road. Little late now.

 

haha yup... im callin Triple A to tow to my brothers house he has a lift too so hopefully we'll pin this down... I'll have some updates around 4:30-5:00

Worst case if it is the bearings its not to blow point so maybe I can just drop the oil pan and get to the bearings from underneath with a little ease...

 

Ok compression test was fine, idiots at local dealership musta had hercules himself install my oil filter because it was hard as hell to get off once I realized thats what was leaking... Alls good in York for now

That is a lot of engines for such a new car.

 

That's why I do my own oil changes. It give you a chance to look at everything.
