Default OEM Clutch question

i have a 06 tc with 56,xxxx miles on it,i notice sometimes if i accelerate fast up to 5500 to 6000 rpms, and shift fast i noticed my clutch gets really soft, but goes back to normal over time,is this something i should be concern about or get check out......do i need a new clutch or something..i asked some friends and they said clutch is getting very hot......

so any advice or something,i dont race the car i normally take it up to 4500 rpms but thats about it when getting on the free way

Does the car still accelerate normally? Like other than the clutch going soft do you notice anything else?

yea,i also noticed if im in 4th gear downshift to third gear very gently ill grind sometimes, the other day i couldnt get into thirds gear,i also noticed my shifter itself feels alot looser then normal,i got the doc's cable bushings also

so bascially my symptoms are

clutch gets really soft if i drive it hard to 5800 or so rpms
my shifter feels alot looser then normal
3 rd gear grinds if i try to go into it or downshift into it,only sometimes but gotta do it slow.......

im thinking either its my clutch or i need my tranny rebuilt or something else,

well if your clutch is getting very soft when your shifting in high rpms.it that your clutch is wearing out, meaning its very got,and sometimes it feels like a sponge and if worse comes to worse you cant get into gears right or having a tough time...seems like you need a new clutch, cause if it were the tranny you wouldnt be able to get into any gears but then again 3 rd gear is knows to go out for some people, just let it sit for awhile and cool down and let the clutch reajust itself then drive it normal and see whats happens,

have u noticed any difference in the position of the pedal on where it grabs??? i have an issue where it sounds like the throw out bearing is engaged but only when its extremely cold out. than i push the pedal in and it goes away. ive also noticed that 3rd gear can be a lil stubborn at times when tryin to shift at high rpms. as for the pedal feeling spongy, id think that would have something to do with either the slave cyl or the master. usually when ur clutch is goin u can smell the fibers burning. check ur fluid levels and the function of the slave and master cyls and take it from there
