I have the oval tip... and it sticks out just as far as the stock one did... in fact, the average person isn't going to think there's an exhaust on there until I go full throttle... and even then, it's half as loud as my friend's magnaflow catback on his EP3 Si.

Everything really does line up perfectly... and without much trouble, either. I lost a nut on the U-bracket extension (my fault) on the pictured hanger thing a few pages ago, so I just have it suspended with the 2 stock placement rubber hangers, and it still hangs perfectly with little movement.

There is only one minor concern I have with the exhaust... The crush-bent piping might hinder someone who installs a turbo later on. Otherwise, it still flows 300x better than stock, and is a great N/A upgrade for a typical modder.

I'm absolutley happy with mine, and would buy it again.

Could not decide between the TRD or the PM axel back. But based on the great feed back, I decided to save some $$ and go with the PM.
Can't wait!

Well i've been away for now because i wanted to break in the exhaust a bit more.... but it does sound A WHOLE LOT better it made me very happy.. and he did a great job on it.. only thing is i still here a slight rasp but when the car is warmed up enough it seems like it goes away, and only happens on high acceleration.. i'm really starting to assume its something with the gasket but don't kno how to fix it since i've moved it around and tightened it etc.. i will get pics asap.. and one thing is that its not meant for the ABS dynamics lip kit lol.. well obviously the exhaust wasn't designed to go with a lip kit but the lip kit goes ou too much so the exhaust sits inside.. still looks great but anoying to align with the lip kit.. but without the lip kit the exhaust lines up perfectly with the body. I have sound clips with the rasp and without and hopefully after i edit them and post the pics up u guys can help me figure out where its coming from. But i am happy with this exhaust just the rasp i'm unsure how to fix.. and my lip kit is sorta melting lol.. but its not stylis' fault i just have to find a way to have it align better.. i also used a different rubber hanger to let it sit a bit lower so it wouldn't hit the lip kit from the top.

Thank you stylis for ur hard work and helping me out.. great customer service.. and very helpfull.. would of been great to meet u at the scion life ani party but i forgot what ur car looked like lol..

I just hope in no way the rasp is coming from the exhaust.. but i really believe it has to do with the gasket.. but on the previous exhaust u gave me... it was really bad and this one sounds soooooo much better.

does it get louder when it is broken in? cause i like the exhaust, but i think it is too quiet for my taste. if it is a little louder than the trd, then it is what i'm looking for.

Is the flange on the PM exhaust just bolts on the OEM flange or does it come with a special flange or does it need to be changed......sorry for the noob ?, but I just want to make sure and i have no idea how the aftermarket exhaust system works.......

I can see that the end of the pipe is somewhat expanded will it be flushed on the OEM exhaust pipe when installed?

Finally, the PM piping is 2.25" and the OEM pipe is somewhere 2" will there be a problem connecting this two?

Thanks....

You got it right! Thats how its supposed to fit on! :D you know that I haven't even noticed that anyone is painting the pipe. Thats one of the reasons we don't paint them. So you can paint them yourself with High temp paint to stand out.

Stylis, if you don't mind me asking.....did you just slip in a 2.25" flange in the pipe then used a pipe expander to do that?
