ok so its been happening a lot lately and its starting to ____ me off. when i go to start my car it doesnt even try to turn over or anything it just sounds like the battery is dead but it isn't cause everything else works. and it can take up to like 20 times of me trying to start it to actualy startt,.......what could this be from??? could it be an electrical problem or having a CAI???

 

sounds like an electrical problem .. maybe the clutch button beneath the clutch is mess up .. that is if u drive a manual

 

yeah its a manual and i make sure the clutch is always down.....someone said it could be the intake sensor but wouldnt that try to start it u know. it just like is dead

 

how long after you installed CAI did this start. Did you reset ecu, when it is started are there any performance issues or does it drive fine like usual? have you done any other mods to car?

 

My guess would probably be the clutch switch under the clutch pedal. Mine went out and the dealer replaced it with a different kind of switch, seems beefier.
