I have an 06 Auto tC and the first thing I put on was the Injen Intake. BIG difference. In performance and sound. As far as noise goes, it'll surpirse you at first but then you'll grow to dig it. Def not ricey at all either. Loud and throaty. You'll also hear the trademark whistling sound of air rushing into the throttle body. If your worried about rain and puddles you can get an Injen Hydro Shield to put over the filter. I doubt it would do much good if the compartment got flooded but I'm sure it would help in heavy rain situations. I got one for mine just in case:

Since that first mod I've installed MMW headers + S pipe, Magnaflow exhaust with a high flow cat , 18" resonator and SUN hyper voltage sytem and ground kits. The difference between stock and now is like night and day. When I need the power, it's there. Esp on the low end. Also, def get a little better gas mileage. About 35ish more miles per tank give or take. Aside from the headers, the Intake def made a HUGE difference on its own so I HIGHLY recommend getting one. Especially if it's an Injen. I also have an Agency Power lightweight crank pulley to install but here's what I got so far, enjoy:

Hope this helps!
