I'm thinking of this current set-up: Megan Headers, Megan S-Pipe, Custom 2.5" Midpipe with a High Flow Cat and an Aero Resonator, into my Tsudo N1 Exhaust... What do you guys think?

For those of you buying cheap glasspacks and cheap reonators be carefull.. I had on my exhaust a dynomax 18" 2.5" inlet/ outlet, resonator/muffler with a 3.5" body and it was galvinized, not stainless. Anyways i wanted to change it out for a Magnaflow 22" long with a 4" body to quiet things down a little bit more. When i looked in the inside of the Dynomax galvinized resonator, it was all collapsing in and all rusty looking. It wasn't strait through no more...
With just the swap of those two resonators/mufflers there was a gain in performance my but dyno would say about 5 more horse power due to the collapsing of the old one.
So what i'm trying to say is i never new the non stainless resonator was collapsed and robbing hp, as it takes a long time to slowly fall apart. I only had it on there for about 6 months. So just make sure you use a stainless one..

^^What was collapsing, the inside perforated tube or the fiberglass around it? Was there damage to the outside of the resonator?

Yea it was the perforated tube that had rust on it and was all warped looking and in the middle of the resonator there was a section, about 2" that was collapsing. Blocking like a third of the flow through it... The outside was fine, just a little serfice rust..

OK, thanks. I'll cross them off my list.

I guess for a small resonator, 12-18" (besides the Aero's) these stainless from Vibrant look like a good choice, sold by Dezod:

No problem, glad i could help. My friend takin the video said it sounded badass on the outside and he could barely hear any rasp at all even as i passed him. The video is deceiving but as i was passing him he was only about 5 feet away.

tCizzler, what's your set-up exactly, are you running a high flow cat or just the Aero Resonator?

I am running exactly this.....

DC header..... Invidia S-pipe........stock midpipe flange with stock cat..... About 2" after the cat, the midpipe was cut off and replaced with 2.5" pipe for the rest of the pipe........ next comes the Aero resonator.......then back to the OEM style magnaflow 2.5" in/out muffler. It sits exactly the way the OEM muffler does (under the trunk space and side to side).

But if i was to give some advice for someone starting from scratch... i would say NOT to jump up to 2.5" piping. It doesn't add any noticeable power and makes the rasp and noise a little bit louder.

sooo what are you guys installing these resonators on? custom midpipes? stock ones? or something like the zpi one?

what sort of midpipe/resonator set up would i expect to want for a MMW header with HKS axleback?

what if you were to do this: Megan header>Megan s-pipe>Megan midpipe (but eliminate the cat and replace it with the Aero Resonator)>stock resonator> remaining pipeing>axle back exhaust... can this work??

no i use to have the megan mid and i believe the resonator its got in there is smaller than the OEM, and there is no CAT in there, so honestly if your going to add an aero res. in there you might as well just go with a custom mid. i know you prolly want it just because you want a full megan exhaust system, but going custom should be cheaper as well
