I heard not to use the 2.5 pipe and stay with the OEM size. because the 2.5 pipe didn't help reduce sound... I maybe worng, its just hear say. I'm going to try and use the OEM Mid pipe and squeeze that aero in there..

 

I was reffering to the 2.5" pipe for increases power and the res to reduce the sound. For a SC setup.

 

You can use the AR25 on the stock mid-pipe.(flare the mid-pipes ends out)

But like Mr_Meaty said the 2.5 Mid-pipe wouldn't hurt.

I have a Aero AR25 on my Megan OE-RS midpipe i just need to install it... I will let you know how it sounds...

Since I'm too lazy to go thru all the pages and find a link, and I know someone out there is willing go find it for me...is there any kind of sound clip/video of a tC with S/C, headers, full exhaust (any type) that DOESN'T rasp? Thinkin about going boosted, and I know the headers would get me a nice extra couple HP, but can't stand the sound.

Just so u guys know i have a s/cer, header back exhaust with just the aero ar25 resonator and i have absolutely no rasp at all.Only bad thing is i dont think the website has these anymore. im glad i got mine when i did.

 

Is it just the one resonator? Any pics would be appreciated.

With MMW Header if I use a custom Mid Pipe with a 30 in. resonator will that alone eliminate all rasp or should I look into getting either an AERO 25 or a Highflow cat welded in also?

I hear alot about the AERO 25 in combination with another resonator. I did however read a post on some forum, this guy had a Megan Mid, replaced the big resonator with a Magnaflow 30 and still had rasp he bought an AERO 25 and took it to the muffler shop and they suggested that he get a "Turbo Muffler" and install it backwards, where he was going to put the AERO 25 > replacing the small resonator on the Megan Mid. He had step by step pics and sound clip vids. Has anyone seen this post anywhere could someone post a link to it? I can no longer find it.
