Default Reduced the rasp! Progress for TRD/Borla with Header (AUDIO)

EDITED TO ADD AUDIO CLIP LINK:
http://media.putfile.com/file11168

This is with TRD exhaust, header and S-pipe in the morning first start. I will try to get a clip under load.

Ok so I added a AW header and CC S-pipe and my TRD exhaust got high pitched, raspy, bumble bee/fart sounding. I understand also other exhaust and Borla have the same issue. I will list this as fix one and fix two. Fix one many people can do but fix two will only work on a muffler with standard tips.
So first snip that mid pipe and toss in two 14" magnaflow resonators. You could try one or maybe one longer aluminized one but this is the biggest 4" round STAINLESS I could find so I did two. So 28" of sound reduction. These cost $60 each from Jegs. You can find cheaper and or bigger ones in aluminized not polished stainless as far as I could locate at this time.
PICS:

So that helped but still too loud. Especially when letting of the gas on the highway. Still high pitched out of the tip at WOT. Then I came across a unique baffled tip with rear vents. Designed to reduce drone sounds and raspyness. So I gave it a shot and wacked the TRD tip off (of course it can be put back on if I want to or Ebay).
Here are some pics..

Well all I can say is that I am as close to the factory TRD sound as I think is possible, The drone has been reduced alot driving around and the bumble bee sound is at a minimum. Happy to say getting on it and going through the gears sounds impressive. Now I can deal with it...finally.
I will update this thread with info on how to get these tips if enough people show interest. They are not cheap.

so true....I wish I could get it as silent as off the lot with the TRD but at this point its damage control. It seems clear that if you want a header and a S-pipe you will have to live with some degree of rice. Also the unusual looking tip....remember in a short while everything in there will be black with carbon so it will look more normal.

I only saw 14" units (20" actual over all length) for what you see under my car as the largest from magnaflow in 4" round (any larger round and you are going to have some issues). I know everyone chimes in and says they have larger but I can't find a link other than either 6" round units or aluminzed stuff. Also add 6" to anything over all for the out/inlets. Lastly some of the long ones are 3" in and out. Stock TC pipe 2.25....here is the official link:
