Default Shaky Idle..?

Any AUTO owners been having a not soo smooth idle? Mine is an 05 with 16k miles and for a good while now ive been having a very shaky idle. Nothing too crazy but enough to make my hand on the steering wheel move some. Yes im taking it to the dealer to get my rattles fixed and ill let them know about this but i wanted to see if anyone else has had this also? Spark plugs maybe. I have no engine mods besides the PM axelback? That shakes alot too. Its off and on all the time. Shakes for about 10 seconds then very light and normal, then 5-10 secons later it does it again and back and fourth. It does it in P N & D. Thanks for anything?

Hmmm ... is your A/C on when it shakes? My auto idles a little rough when the compressor cycles on, not too bad though.

Well ... does it idle rough if the A/C is off?

If not does the rough idle coincide with the A/C compressor "ON" cycle?

still shaking. Is it only in the tC's or what cause the other cars dont do this? I have yet to go to the dealer like i said becuase the f*cker wont call me back about my rattle which i have to call tomorrow (bastard dealership!) It shakes enough for that rattle to start rattling? A/C is on and even when i turn OFF the cycle it still is the same? Only stops when the A/C is off. Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like it might be your A/C compressor failing & loading down your engine when running. This would be a warranty repair.

Is there another dealer in your area who might be easier to deal with?

nope, closes one is probally about 1.5hrs away. Ill call them tomorrow. They were good about fixing my other warranty problem really quick. Hopefully they can knock this stuff out and not mess with the engine or f*ck up the a/c? Ill see.

Do you have after market intake? There may be a vacuum leak if it was installed incorrectly.
