ok, these are just resistor chips you make yourself. installing is easy they are spliced into you intake MAF sensor. what it really does is trick your ecu into thinking its running "RICH"/ cold-air/ more air whatever and so it spits more fuel for ya. its safe in a way as it prevents detonation, but its 2008 baby things dont happen like that but anyway..... if you wanna install that cheap stuff go ahead but know that your using more fuel and possible have more engine deposits too, so if you go get a car maintanance inspection dont be suprise they request for you to have a fuel system clean.......

Thanks for the honest assessment and warnings. makes sense to me. last thing i want right now is to use more fuel for nothing.

This brings up an interesting point. If you guys think I am wrong tell me why and if you think I am right tell me why as well.

You cant say one is better than the other. We cant say Fi>NA and you cant say NA>FI

And a reason why, Compare a dodge viper and a scion tC.
One has a V10 (6 liter I think??)
The other an Inline 4 (2.4Liter)

The larger engine can have tons of power squeezed out of it. No problem, 700hp!!
The smaller engine, tC, just doesnt have enough room to have enough fuel and air in those small cylinders to make that kind of power!!!! NA, maxing out at 200HP for the everyday user, leslie durst hit 300Hp NA, but she is a full fledge race team!!!

Now take that viper again, its maxed out at 700HP, slap twin turbos on it and you have 1101 HP, (hennesey venom viper)
Now the tC again. NA, maxing out at 200HP for the everyday user, leslie durst hit 300Hp NA, but she is a full fledge race team!!! So slap a turbo on it and bam 300-400hp!!!!

Now look at the other side WEIGHT!!! Look at all of the larger engine vehicles. Heavy as can be. Not nearly as nimble unless set up very nicely.
Its taking larger displacement vehicles 1000HP to get down into the 9s on the race track. But take a 4cylinder with a nice turbo setup and 700 gets you into the 9s with an EVO VIII.
A viper NA with the same power will not hit 9s!!

Fuel economy, out of boost, a turbo car will have much better MPG than a NA that is crazy tuned to hang with the turbo car.
But then get that turbo into boost and your MPG are horrible.
So again, neither is better!!

its just to much. You cannot say NA>FI. Esoecially with the Scion tC!!!
