Whats the cheapest way to get better sound out of the car? I don't want it to sound like a ricer though. My budget is no more then $500. And I want to be able to do it myself..

easiest would be an intake, either the CAI (cold air intake) or the SRI (short ram intake).

the CAI is more for performance gains

the SRI is more for sound than actual gains (sounds very throaty)

both should be doable by yourself or with very little help from a friend.

The Injen Exhaust is really nice. It has a nice and deep rumble at idle and stays deep at WOT. The picture in that link is nothing what it really looks like. You can get it about $30 bucks cheaper and free shipping too at TRDSparks.

im going to change my muffler this month. you can have my muffler for free.

i love the sound of my muffler its really deep!

i dont know the brand.. maybe its a poop ebay muffler. i dont know. ( last owner bought it). but i heard scions with trd exhaust and everything else.. and i think this muffler sounds deeper!

the only problem is: the tip is really short.. so my rear bumper is smoked every time and melted a little bit. so if you want it.. u can have it for free! only thing what you have to pay is to install and get a universal tip or something. PM me if you want it. i can take measure of tip if you want me.
