your not going to squeeze anymore hp out of the cams N/A without going cmpletely unstreetable and even then the gains would be marginal, they are on the other hand a little limiting on the f/i side tho. But 500hp is still capable. Rippmods is your best bet. I personally do not trust regrinds, they have t be done abslutely perfect to last at all.
Cam gears? what do you think vvti is?
camcon is a controller then can adjust the vvti i belive.

also why do you want cams? your probably looking at near 1000$ to do cams for this motor which has no use at all unless your running 20+psi of boost or trying to build a n/a track car

buy a ported polished head with bigger valves and an emanage if you want n/a power.

Hey you might wanna call Greg down at GSC in charleston, they might be able to hook you up with something, or lead you to someone that has them.

Brian Crower is developing cams for the tc.

and that is nonsense about cams not doing anything for a NA tc! ;) true, they probably will make idle a bit rougher and guzzle gas. and i'm not sure how the cams will affect vvti, like if it still works or not.

but you will get nice significant gains with cams. you do NOT want cams from a racer car though.

we don't have cam gears do we?
