How much rasp do you think i will get if i install this header with the rest of my exhaust being all tsudo, midpipe and all? Would another resonator have to be installed?

 

IT would be horrible

You would need at least another resonator to make it sound decent. A high flow cat would do better

 

why do you like it better than your DC header...?

 

When you guys feel the gains is it during acceleration like what rpms do you notice the difference.

I am hoping that its its like mid 2.5k-4k

yes it would..... if your gonna use the stock midpipe nuy an aero 25 resonator and have it welded between the factory cat and resonator

 

It will indeed sound horrid withthe stock mid pipe and TRD........mine was so bad I took a day off work to get resonators welded in.........

On a side note my buddy has the Apexi and just put in a High Flow cat after gettign his header installed and the exhaust is beautiful sounding now......high flow cat seems to really tame a lot of rasp.........gonna have to get one for my mid pipe

 

well see thats yalls problem the TRD exhaust is the worst exhaust with header. $hit the TRD exhaust gets raspy just adding a midpipe to it and making it a custom catback. u want no rasp out of an exhaust lose the TRD use the factory midpipe and do like BAM said put an aero25 between the 2nd cat and factory resonator. i have a vid on youtube with my tsudo header and s pipe with the midpipe i previously stated and megan drift spec axle back and TRD axle back and u can def hear the dif in exhausts. how the TRD still has a lil rasp to it and the megan has none.

 

also who ever gets this please post pics of clearance and how u like them and everything cause i know everyone and especially me would like to see the quality of the latest version of the tsudo header and s pipe. im still thinking about getting one.

from what ive heard. i know several ppl that bought the new version and said they have no problems with it. i think im like the only one on here that actually got hell with the older version. and it would have been fixed hopefully if speed-element would contact me back. they wont even write me. ive written them like 10 times.

 

ive contacted speed element before i ordered mine and he said that they have fixed the problem with the header and they test them fit them before selling them .... "garuntee fit" he said.

 

glad u could get in touch with them. they must just not like me or something lol. well i hope it def works for ya. like i said ive heard all the new ones fit perfect and are awesome.
