Tsudo fireball axleback hell + bad fit + leaks
Hello all.
My tsudo fireball axleback came today, and since I'm inexperienced, I took it to the muffler shop to have them put it on. This turned out to be a good call, since the guy took out the old one, put the new one up there, and saw that the top end of the flange tilted away from the stock midpipe. He also informed me that the stock gasket it came with, a flat gasket, was worthless; the OEM gasket is cone shaped (any ideas with this?). Thankfully, he was able to cut the end and weld it back on at a different angle (a few inches from the flange) and sent me on my way. When I got home I got under the car (I could smell the welding compound slightly, outside) and saw a few wisps of exhaust coming out of the lower part of the flange. Wonderful, a leak.
So, what do I do? I'll be back to the shop tomorrow to have them repair their mistake. How dangerous/bad is a small leak that far down the pipe (yes, yes, I know it's bad)? At least this exhaust sounds good (quiet at idle, plenty of nice burly sound in the low ranges, quiet enough at higher speeds, light and much smaller than the OEM unit). How low quality does such a popular part have to be to come not even bent properly? You'd think they'd have a recreation of the OEM underbody at the factory to prevent such a thing.

UPDATE: I checked it again, gave it some revving (someone did, while i looked under) and didn't see any leaking. Very bizarre, as I know I saw a few wisps of smoke coming from that joint earlier. I checked it 3 more at various intervals, and it was fine. Stills smells a bit like welding compound, but i guess this is because it is so new. Thoughts?
Glad everything worked out! I bought mine about 4 months ago, and i haven't had any problems with it... BUT! When i first installed it, for about the first 3-4 days I could smell something (burnt smell), but don't even worry about it, it goes away after about a week of driving.
