i'm actually curious to see where it draws air from, other then the opening in the front. but i think the price is ok, but like to see it a little cheaper thou..

edit

actually it would be nice if there's an extension from the front opening to the front upper grill, like how they do it with the 3 series, then that way it'll be drawing air from out side where it's clean and cold. I hope you know what i'm talking about...

Maybe I'm overlooking it, but I can't seem to find the video/audio clip on their site. Where is it?

Hey, Thanks dude. Me and my g/f always thought that the TC sounded a little to electronical under the hood, and needed a little more grunt. That's why we will be installing the Injen CAI we got last night, later today. Can't wait.

Thet second graph says "Mazda 3" on it.
I love the sound, and it may be worth it just for that, but it does seam like a lot of money for a filter and a box.
Teak and Rhyth:
How does that Injen sound compared to this one? Some are saying it's real loud. Any chance of a sound clip?

I'm pretty skeptical -- his post seems more like an advertisement. Check out his identical post at toyota nation:

Well, if they gave him the part for free, it was probably a condition that he promotes it to all his scionites on various message boards. Does not neccessarily undermine the product.

I agree. This kit should come with a hose that willl draw air from the front air scoop in our front spoilers. I have aleady opened it up by using a dremel and cutting out a whole where the plastic pop in thing goes.

We need to draw cold air in! This is the best way for this kit to work. BTW the hose extension shouldn't be too much of a cost to add to this price point.

I also wouldn't mind paying a little less too... Good luck! And keep up the great work....

the hp gains could be minimal for all i care. to me, this isnt a race car, and is already quick enough to be fun to drive. that intake gives it a fantastic sound though. are there any other videos/sound files of other intakes or exhausts?
