Default Weapon R intake Problem

I have a 5A TC with 21,000mi. Yesterday i was drving home and my intake sounded louder than usual, and i noticed my performance was also lacking. My car would rev out but accelerate very slowly. I figured one of the hose clamps was probably loose. after tightening the clamps i drove the car and it would stutter from 3500-5000 rpm under a slow roll on the throttle. I took off the intake tightened all the clamps, tightened the MAF, looked for any vacuum hoses that may have fell off and disconnected the battery to reset the ECU. I drove the car tonight and the CEL came on. I disconnected the battery again and reset the CEL. The car drives ok now, performance wise it still seems inconsistant, and the intake sound is still louder than usual. It wont stutter anymore under a load, but from 3000-4500rpms it feels sluggish. Im wondering what the problem may be any help guys??

I'm stumped.
If you tightened everything, made sure that all the hoses were connected properly, and reset the ECU, then it should be fine. It's hard to tell from my point of view. Maybe there's something wrong with your butt dyno, or maybe by resetting the ECU it's now compensating for the extra air (I doubt this is causing the problem).

Might be a dirty MAF. Have it checked out.
