So you got together with yourself, and came up with the idea of posting a thread about yourself and your car, for everyone to follow along as your project takes shape. Basically, a forum about you... You ****.

Jk, good luck.

Yeah, Yeah....

This is the best way I've found for people to follow along with how projects develop and the background that goes into them and all the pieces of the puzzle...

With N2O, there are so many around that do it cheaply and wrong, that I knew we needed a good thread to show how to do it right.... Thus, This thread.

Haha, i was kidding. Personally i wouldn't do N20, but i know theres been tons of discussions about it, and your right, no one really does do it "right." So teach these people.

It's really 75% Show / 25% Go

And half the fun is just doing it and getting it set up... and adding another notch in the belt.

I have a very notched up belt....

Did you put something under the carpet to mount it on?

Is the blow down kit goin to go through the spare tire well?

Yeah... I'll show you tomarrow, when I run the lines up to the front and halfway finish my speaker install as well.

There is a 1/16th plate underneath the floor, and used adhesive spray to secure it to the bottom of the floor section and washers and nuts to secure the mounts through the floor and to the plate... It's a really thin piece of metal, but does the job pretty well.

The blowdown tube is going to go down right in front of the spare tire... it's going to be a standard braided hose, rather than the hard pipe, which still meets safety specs, to give me the added flexibility I need.

Have you worked with N2O before?.... Cause that's going to be one heck of an install, alone with the pain of tuning a DP setup... scary.

I'd like to see how it works out!

I have worked with nitrous before and I am having it tuned by someone else. We are using my SAFC II for the tuning work. My intake manifold is being sent to have all the work done by a company that only works with direct port setups. It should all go very good.

The WOT problem is one of the reasons I went with the Zex Wet kit, as they have the TPS detection module built right into their selenoid bank....

Here's the product you'll need.

This is your best option, with direct port or other kits... it monitors the TPS wire and is programmable to that....

I found out that the last 3 feet of it or so are plastic, surrounded by a protective coating... the tC service tech insists I can t- tap it, but I'm concerned about getting the plastic tube securely tapped, considering it's under pressure... It'll be a pain in the butt I'm sure, but I've already looked at the service manual and checked on availbility and price for a new tube, if need be.... but we'll just have to see....

I guess I get to be the test subject....
