Im 20, 21 next month, was able to finance my car on my own 711 credit score FTW, I have one card that is capped at a 2k limit, it was a 5k limit but I had it reduced but they told me I could have up to 20k limit on the card, I was like no Im good with 2k. I just save the money I dont like putting myself in debt or using the card unless I have to.

It's actually really nice to have a high limit card. I have a $16,000 limit on one of my cards, which I never asked for a raise on the cap. Just transfered my ENTIRE student loan onto it, and I've got 0% on transfers. All my other cards are low limits though, $1,800 - $3,000, which is nice because I can't spend much on them .

I gotta go with the guy who started this thread...I got a great deal for everything I got on my car or got it as a gift but am still a year or two away from anything big (GReddy s/c planned)

springs $150 shipped, leather steering wheel $18 (ebay), header $50 ebay, platinum plugs not irridium, Pioneer head unit-christmas gift, K&N drop in $20, wheels were traded for because my car came with big heavy-ugly 18s that some Honda guy with light 17inch Konigs wanted to trade for, Michelin and Toyo tires used at $120pr rear-mounted, $90 front, 10m rear spacers ebay $45, emblems-cheap and easy.

DIY everything-that helps keep the cost of the labor down. Gotta love this site.

I'm a CAD Specialist. Don't have a turbo kit yet, but I started a budget and should be good to get one in a yr and a half.

For the things I have now, I used my tax refund, some extra cash lying around and birthday money so far. Most of my $ is going towards paying off debt right now.

Eating Cup Of Noodles and Cereal can save you a lot more money than you think, lol, I'm a Volvo Tech. BUDGET, not down w/the credit card debt. I don't even own one, and living at home doesn't hurt either........YES!
