yeah, i ran into the same problems but i haven't had a chance to call yet. but i can't really blame ZPI on this one since they don't bend there own pipes. the flange was no big deal i just drilled it out myself. but i'm going to have to send mine back as well since i'm having problems getting it to fit right

Right now, the biggest advertising ZPI has is this site.
After reading this thread, I would certainly hope that Kenny can write another formal message to the group, addressing any concerns and issues people might STILL be having with this s-pipe.

Seems like he out to be treating his #1 advertising market a bit better than he is.

i called yesterday to make sure they had the tracking number of the s-pipe i sent back to them. they said they'd send out the new s-pipe yesterday also. since ups doesn't do saturday deliveries, i'm hoping the new one will be here by monday. i should've called zpi today to check if it went out, but i was out all day. i hope it went out. dslrdave, u're right, word of mouth on this website is definitely something that can either really help them out or hurt them. imagine how much business tctunerz has lost because of this site. hopefully zpi keeps everything on the up and up, and doesn't screw around like tztunerz. anyways, unless they show that they don't deserve people's business or trust, i'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I,m sure they they had no problems recieving your money. I thought the whole purpose of spending 100.00 + on a .02 cent piece of metal was to have it serve some purpose - like fit maybe.

they're not sending my new pipe out yet. they're waiting to get mine back. after they test fit it & verify it doesn't work, then they'll send me a new one. that's really F-in annoying. they had no problems taking my money. thursday they told me that they'd send me something else that night for my troubles. on friday they told me that they were waiting to verify the tracking number i gave them. i made sure they did verify it, & i checked the tracking number on UPS' site to make sure it was in the system. they said that since it came up, they'd overnite it friday & i'd have everything by monday. since overnight is guaranteed by noon, & i didn't get it i called them back just now. this time i was told that they weren't gonna ship it out until they got mine back & tested it first. they could've told me that they weren't gonna send me a new one until they got mine back-i woulda sent it back with 2-3day priorty mail instead of UPS. they would've gotten it by saturday. UPS isn't gonna have my pipe to them until tomorrow. who knows when they're gonna test fit the thing. then i have to wait for them to send me another one. i don't get why they need to install it first-obviously it didn't work. why the hell would i spend money trying to have it installed, pay to ship it back, wait for it, then pay again for install if it just worked the first time. they're giving me an 02sim for the trouble. my point is that i already spent about $55 on top of the cost of the pipe. it's gonna cost me another $40 for the muffler place to try the install again. that means i'll have spent $95 in total. that covers the cost of an 02sim already. i'm not scamming them for a freakin sim card. i'd rather have gotten the right s-pipe, had it installed a week ago properly & bought my own sim card.

Sucks bro, I feel ya when you buy something that doesnt work and you have to spend extra money trying to make it work . I once bought a downpipe for my turboe eclipse and it didnt fit right, hit the oil pan and the flange was angled wrong. Had to send it to a muffler shop to make it work. in the end they only used the flex peice and the flange, which I could h ave bought for much cheaper...

I dont know where all the people praising ZPI went but hell it sure as hell seems to me those people where just ZPI employees. Hell, i havent even seen ZPI show their face on this board ever since they started to steal peoples money.

WOW…..is all I can say.

We have three S-pipes that do not fit and we are accused of stealing your money?
To our knowledge the only S-pipes that did not fit where the ones couples to the Creative Compact Cat back. We are not sure as to why they are not fitting together.

Justin,

We are not waiting to send you out an S-pipe to verify that we get it as in you are trying to steal it. We want to get it back and put it on a car so that we can make sure the one you get is 100%. We do not want to ship you another one if the problem is the fitment between the pipe and the cat back. I don’t understand why we are trying to make sure you are getting the right parts that fit your car with your specific setup and we are getting flamed.

To say that we find this frustrating is to say the least. We are continually developing new products for tC daily. As with any new product there is going to be a few bumps that need to be conquered, I feel that our Customer Service should speak for itself. There have been a few fitment issues we have always stood behind our products and offered our customers our help in anyway we can. We are unable to be on the internet every minute of everyday to responds to these forums. We will have our own forum on thescionstore.com that we will be able to monitor a little better and hopefully respond a little quicker.

We are continually developing new products and you can always expect the best from the ZPIracing Product line. We have and always will stand behind our products 100% and the customers who buy them. We have a 7 day a week tech email. AIM, Email, Phones during normal business hours.

ok-just spoke to trish(i think) from zpi on the fone. feel much better now. basically, everything's gonna be worked out tomoro. they're gonna just see if it's because of the exhaust i have on or if it's the pipe that's giving probs. once that's taken care of, they'll either modify the pipe for me and send it back or just send me a new one altogether. they said that for some reason, people with the CC catbacks, are having fitment issues. with stock and zpi exhausts, there's no problems. maybe the CC catback isn't sitting low enough on the car? it'd be nice if someone had a CC Catback and could go down there to have them test fit it. either way, they promised to take care of it for me tomoro. kenny's gonna call me when they get my pipe and are testing it. thanx zpi.

i haven't called ZPI yet about my fitment issues (because i get home too late from work) but everytime i'v spoke with kenny he has been nothing but helpful and went out of his way trying to help me diagnose a problem i had which ended up being a MAFS. i just sent an e-mail to the one listed above and i am confident kenny will once again help me in anyway he can.

oh yeah and they didn't steal my money... infact they didn't even get my money i bought the s-pipe from someone who wrecked their car before getting it in the mail, and even knowing this kenny helped me out, and even called me at 10pm to help me sort out a problem.
