Hey give these guys a break they treat people right when they get the full story. Its my feeling that pm's and emails to companies such as ZPI and CC just dont ever work out to well. its the nature of the commincation (asynchronus). I always get exactly what i need happen with phone calls.

I have the alphawerks header, the 1st revision zpi pipe doesnt work with it, after about a week of both zpi and I trying to figure this out at the same time with different hardware etc. I went on vacation and when I got back I got a nice phone call telling me I can keep the rev1 pipe and I'll have to wait 2-3weeks for one that works. You cant get much better than that for customer service.

You think dell would send you a ide hard drive for your serial ata system and then say oh whoops, keep it, we'll send you another one?

nien.

/edit, by my count I got a week from monday left to wait, an extra pipe Im probably gonna sell (any takers?) with extra hardware, and I'm enjoying a complimentary t-shirt for my 1.5 month long wait process.

keisha-i called u guys last week, whoever i spoke to told me they didn't know what was going on, and that they would have u call me back in like a half hour. no call back. i called on monday, spoke to kenny, he told me he did have regular s-pipes(not for the AW header) and that he could send me one. he then told me he'd call me back within the hour-no call back either. now do u see why i feel like i'm getting the runaround? i pm'd u, there was no response. i called, they said u would call me back, no call back. i called again, spoke to kenny-who told me he himself would call me back, no call back. so the last 3 times i tried to talk to anyone there it didn't happen. how am i supposed to feel? i paid for the pipe, i was told there was one coming to me like 3 days after i sent it in, then was told there wasn't one coming because they were on backorder for a week. that was almost 3 weeks ago. not only that, but kenny just told me on monday that he did have an s-pipe he could send me, and then never called me back. i called yesterday, and no one picked up. u have to understand where i'm coming from-i already paid for the thing, it didn't work, i paid to have the place try to install it, then i paid to have it shipped back and was told that as soon as it got to u guys u would send me a replacement. if i had been told that it was going to take a while to get another pipe, i could've gone about things differently- such as gettinng a refund or having my place extend the pipe for me and make it fit. at least that would have left me with some options. at this point, what am i supposed to do? i don't have the pipe anymore, i don't know when i'm getting my new one, and i already paid u guys the money. obviously i'm frustrated and unhappy about the whole situation as it is, but on top of that, when i can't get anyone to call me back or answer pm's, that makes it even worse.

I feel for you man. I know how frustrating it must be, and when i worked in sales years ago, you are the customer that I would bend over backwards for to make sure you end up as a happy customer. I can only hope that ZPI steps up and shows everyone here, including yourself that they care about you and will find a way to EXCEED your expectations and create a repeat customer out of you. Best of luck with this. Please keep us updated.

ZPI. Impress us with this situation.

Hopefully you'll get some sort of compensation for your extended wait. Something like a shirt, that would be nice.

I also got the s-pipe from racing solutions and at first look I thaught it wasn't going to fit, the end that connects to the donut gasket on the header looked too small, so I just decided to install the header only(I got the Megan racing header, new design), I emailed Brian over at Racing solutions and this is what they responded to him re: this prob.
The opening of the S-pipe is not as big as the factory pipe. The flared end still fits tight up against the doughnut gasket. This is a common misconception that the flare has to swallow the doughnut.

Tell him to use the bolts provided and hand tighten everything first and then go back through and torque them down and I am confident that the product will fit.
So I went back to my buddies shop(he also helped me install the Megan header) and he got it to fit, I'm sure having a lift and air tools helped out alot. So up to date, I have the Injen cold air intake, Megan racing header, ZPI s-pipe and racing solutions antifouler and no CEL(that's about 1100 miles of driving with the s-pipe, a couple more miles with just the header), he installed the longer bolts without the springs and all of the OEM brackets are in place. Sorry to hear some people are having prob. with theirs, hope you get it all worked out, I didn't post sooner, cause this is the first time I'm reading this post.
