Default ZPIracing Stage 1 Short block

ZPIracing is proud to release the stage 1 short block.

While testing and retesting the power limitations of the 2AZ we have found that the pistons are the first weak link. Taking this is mind we have developed a stage 1 short block that will be able to handle the elevated boost levels that we all want. These blocks are the all BRAND new OEM Toyota with our upgraded forged pistons. This will retain stock rods and bearings with Forged CP pistons and rings.

We have these available in 8.5.1 compression and 11.1 for you all motor guys. These short blocks are delivered to your door ready to install. No down time waiting on a engine to get built. 3-5 day lead time on block completion.

****Head Studs are recommend with this package.***

MSRP: 3500.00

I'll leave this here for a day or so for people to take a peek and then move to SS.

Wow you guys never stop amazing me.

Have you done anything to strengthen the block or is the block itself stock? How come you didn't replace the rods?

Better than Honda, you'll have more displacement and a longer stroke which = torque baby!

We are going to do pistons and rods on a stage 2 and then fully sleeved on stage 3.

This will give everyone with diffrent budgets a few options. This block should support 400-450 whp daily driven on pump gas.

Any core charges included or just a flat out $3500 and an extra engine block in the back yard?

Awesome! No doubt you'd have to use 93 octane on the 11:1, will it require a piggyback or do you think the stock ECU could handle it since technically you're not adding additional fuel or air?

My only question is why the heck go to the massive expense of a new block when our engines are so new..? Hell for $2200 you could have block bored, custom pistons made from arias, custom rods from carillo and all assembled! Man I hope you sell a million and I am not trying to be negative but damn, I do not know very many tuners at all that are going to just fork over $3500 for a bottom end with forged pistons.

If someone is going to that extreme for boost, why not just sell pistons, ring and headgasket combinations. or mabey add rods.
