Heading out to the track in about 30 mins.
My driver knows as much about my car as me, he knows that we are just going for MPH. Although we did try to fit a few set of slicks that we could muster up. lol The ones that were actually the right bolt pattern would not fit with fender or bumper on (yes we thought about taking them off) but we figured lets not try to break anything.

i run stock axles and slicks 2 stepping at 5800 rpms and 12 psi of boost with no lsd, and i cut consistent 1.8 60' times. i just pre load the axles and dump it. never broke anything. as long as your driver is any good it should not be a problem.

 

lol stock motor plus box 2 step = pop.

 

Yeah chris doesnt have launch control so no need to worry - no 2 step boom tonight lol

if i could afford slicks i would have attempted it, or have money around for broke parts lol.. my car breaks from cruising on the street... trust me the track is the last place this cars going until i got a wallet to go with it lmao.

 

Only 30 bucks and gp on street tires. That's what I have done. Just go with those nexus. Gives atleast some practice. It'll be fun still.

your car is cursed. i have seen it before with aj's car. but on a serious note, you are always welcome to use my slicks chad. im more than willing to help a fellow florida boosted tc get to the track. just let me know a little in advance and we can figure out a time to meet up at moroso (oops, i mean pbir). cause marcelo has a good point. you talk alot about drag racing for someone who has never done it. we gotta get you on the track. its a great reality check.

 

Yup. It is great and fun. Trust me been there a couple of times with street tires and plenty of cars gave me props cause they new my ____ was fast from spinning so much. I mean times weren't the best but then agai. It was fun and nice adrenaline rush.

 

marcelo did u go at all with stock motor? u think with street tires theres a severe chance of something breaking?

 

Street tire nothing will break. And I went once with stock motor when I was making 326whp. Ran a 13.8 on doo doo street tires. Falken only thing you will break is your feelings lol.
