stock redline is the killer. with a 7.5 redline id bet a 4-5 mph difference easy

Cause the track is prepped 100x's better then the street and atleast you see how fast your car is with your times and see what your doing wrong.

how could u tell what ur doing wrong with street tires? ur really just going to spin no matter what 1st n 2nd are completely useless lol.. i probably wouldnt even launch cuz we wouldnt be going for times... just roll off and then go..

thats the whole thing you have to know throttle control i like to race from a dig teaches me control. when i take of at the track on street tires i launch from like 2000 roll into it then shift second and roll into it about by red line i hit full throttle then in third i roll into it a little harder prolly full throttle halfway through 3rd and wont spin its hard to go fast on street tires.

What the hell is the point of just roll and go. Defeats the purpose Of timed 1/4 mile. The point it to control your car and see what you can do to improve your driving skills and your cars control. And to see what your car can do.

lol who wants to go to the track with a fwd 300+whp car with NO LSD and try and improve their time when their "practicing" a style of driving that will not even matter when u throw slicks on to get the REAL et... any tc on boost doing digs in the street is losing to anything non-fwd. unless ur racing the slowest car on earth. so who cares lol... why would i go to the track to PRACTICE controlling my throttle on street tires? u would have to be racing a slug from a dig on the street to even have a good race cuz any rwd or awd car will leave you. ur practicing a style of driving that will not even help u when the slicks are on and when the ____s serious.... put slicks on ur car then go to the track... why would i waste my time paying money and risking parts to lay down a 13 something on ____ty tires... maybe if the car had an LSD id consider it heavily but its just a waste of time to go lmao.. cool i improved my times to range in the 13's when the should be in the 12's....LAME....they made slicks for a reason. if im going to go to the track i want to try and run the best time possible not sit out there running the same ET as bolt on gti's n mazdaspeeds.... slicks or waste of time imo. unless ur strictly going for trap speed and roll off the line. i wouldnt even care about my ET on streets. u can ricer calculate it with ur trap.

I have never lit up just one tire at the track. And its nice to know what your car can so in street form. U need to go to the track till then you can't speak of it. Till you do your nothing but the 40 year old virgin all talk lol

X2 Cory. Lol at soflotc trying to say when the ____ gets serious put on the slicks and go to the track. Lmao. I would love for you to put on the slicks and go to the track for the first time in your life then try to launch that ____ and either 1. Launch wrong and bog at the line and look like a freaking idiot cause shot got serious and you bogged cause never been to the track or 2. Launch the car so hard you snapped a Axel cause you never been to the track and was afraid to bog and didn't know what you were doing and just went by word of mouth on what you should do at the track. Oh yea cause the ____ got serious lol. Ok Chad do what you wanna do but remember your still a rookie driver and a virgin at the track. And the day you go to the track I really hope you have someone going with you just incase ____ hits the fan for you cause you thought it was pointless to practice.
